In the artwork of Monica Morales the space is color, just as in the
Mexican school of modern architecture, one of its great inspirations. Without a doubt, as far as abstraction is concerned, the artist’s stains
remind us of some of Lundeberg’s scenes, since they are so minimal, so
smooth, so geometric, so spontaneous, so widespread and yet so profound.
