"PAINTING IS GETTING LOST INSIDE YOURSELF" - Monica Morales
The stains of the artist seem to be made with a single brush, without hesitation, distractions, exaggerations or pretensions, they are simply natural. Each is a colorful field, like Frankenthaler’s art, with its own aesthetic, radiating both warmth and coldness.
Sometimes they overlap with each other, in a certain dance, and they
make us think of sophisticated makeup palettes, fashion trends, fashion
shades, haute couture sketches, overlays of exotic textiles and fine
patches of fabrics.
The artist does not look for perfect forms, only beauty in the stains,
in their chromatic planes that assemble dynamically, as in that
simplicity and throwing for with her art... so tan of Mexico and colored
of Europe, so diaphanous and translucent, so opaque and dull, but so
vivacious, clear, lit and bright. In a word, surprising, for its way of
dominating the relations and interactions between the different colours.
